There were two school shootings last week, one being a mass shooting in Winder, GA and the other being in Joppatowne, MD. They highlight the over-policing of schools and the lack of action taken to prevent such tragedies. The hosts discuss the importance of understanding mental health and its role in behavior, as well as the need for stricter gun policies and better evaluation processes for gun ownership. They also express their frustration with Brian McKnight, who neglects his children from his first marriage. Now with him celebrating his new family, he is starting a fatherhood series on IG Live. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ also talk about the potential rise of robot companions instead of human beings. During Sista to Sista, Jerrilyn and Lynee’ talk about overcoming imposter syndrome in professional settings. They provide advice and encouragement for listeners to embrace their uniqueness and confidently pursue their goals.
